Types of Massages

 

Swedish Massage:
A full body relaxation massage using light to moderate pressure

Deep Tissue Massage:
Focusing on specific areas where tension and adhesions are stored, using moderate to deeper pressure. Should not be painful, may be uncomfortable at times but never painful.

Upper Back and Neck Massage:
Using Swedish and Deep Tissue strokes only focusing on the neck, shoulders, arms, hands and low back.

Sports Massage:
Helps relieve pain from the physical exertion from sports such as running, jogging, golf, tennis, weight lifting etc. and also improves performance. Also decreases chances of injury from sporting activities.

Reflexology:
Pressure applied by massage to the specific spots on the feet and the hands to stimulate corresponding areas and other parts of the body. This is thought to normalize function in the part of the body targeted.

Upgrades:

Aromatherapy Massage:
the use of natural plant essences to help with therapeutic effects

Hot Stone Massage:
A different modality using heat from basalt lava stones as massage tools. The thermal stones release tension faster using Swedish and Deep tissue strokes using the stones as well as the massage therapists’ hands
